Golf is all about beautiful courses and challenging play.
A good golf course is also about ensuring the comfort of its players, and one of the most important components of a great experience is providing outstanding on-course restroom facilities.
Industry leader Romtec, Inc., has supplied a wide variety of pre-engineered restroom structures to golf courses all over North America. The company offers hundreds of standard models, and can quickly design custom buildings with features to fit particular needs.
The owners of a private country club in the Southwest, for example, required a small restroom with a high-end feel that would blend in with the Nevada desert surrounding
the course. Romtec designed a simple yet elegant solution––a plumbed Sierra IITM
building with men’s and women’s restrooms, each with sturdy, commercial porcelain fixtures and interiors that provide an upscale “home-like” feel. In keeping with the desert surroundings, the exterior was finished with fieldstone wainscoting and sand-colored stucco walls; the roof is a custom lightweight
concrete tile in a light teal color.
A military golf course in the South had very different needs. With no wastewater infrastructure, course managers needed a self-contained waterless
structure that was odor-free and offered several amenities for golfers. They chose an SST® Traditional Single Restroom, featuring Romtec’s signature
odor-free vent system. The building also features a lightning protection
system, storage room, benches, a water dispenser and an extra-large roof
extension to shelter golfers. “The building provided a needed facility that enhances the aesthetics of the course instead of detracting from it,”
says Ryan Smith, Romtec’s national director of sales.
Whatever a golf course’s particular needs, Romtec can deliver.
The company’s complete sealed plans meet building codes in all 50 states, and the buildings’ modular construction ensures fast, easy installation.
