Advanced Turf Solutions Announces New Appointments in Key Leadership.

Advanced Turf Solutions Names Victor Garcia CEO and Scott Brame President – Alex Cannon Continues as Chairman of the Board

Advanced Turf Solutions announced today new appointments in key leadership. The green industry supplier has promoted Victor Garcia, Advanced Turf Solutions Co-founder and former President, to Chief Executive Officer. Co-founder, Alex Cannon, has stepped down from his role as CEO but will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Scott Brame, former Vice President, has been promoted to President.

“I am honored to have served as the CEO of Advanced Turf Solutions,” said Alex Cannon. “I am proud of the success we have achieved as an independent and employee-owned company, and I am exceptionally proud of the service we continue to provide to the golf, lawn and landscape, and sports turf markets. After spending 43 years in the turf industry, I feel it is the right time to step back and make room for new leadership. The board and I are confident that Vic is the right leader for our future.”

In addition to his role as Chairman of the Board, Alex Cannon will continue to be involved in the business by focusing on new business opportunities and being a resource to the management team.

Victor Garcia has been an integral part of the leadership team since the beginning. He previously served as the company’s Vice President and become President in 2013. He has also served as President of United Turf Alliance.

Scott Brame is a 30-year turf industry veteran with roots as a second-generation golf course superintendent. Since joining Advanced Turf Solutions in 2006, he has served as Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Director of Golf Course Sales, Vice President, and will now take on the role of President.
