Penn State and the Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council would like to invite you to attend the 2013 Golf Turf Conference, held from November 12th through the 14th in the Nittany Lion Inn on Penn State’s University Park Campus. The Golf Turf Conference provides practical information on golf course management to practitioners, industry reps, and students. The 2013 program will feature a pre-conference seminar, a job fair, and a Turf Club luncheon.
The conference will also feature multiple educational sessions on a wide variety of topics, including a special round table discussion on preparing for the majors, which will be hosted by Mr. Matt Shaffer, of Merion Golf Club, and Mr. Jeff Corcoran, of Oak Hill Country Club. The 2013 program will also feature some of the best and brightest in the industry, including USGA agronomists, university faculty, golf course superintendents, industry representative, and graduate students. A total of 1.35 GCSAA Approved Education Points have been approved.
Credits within Pesticide Certification categories 7, 18, 23, 25 in Pennsylvania will also be available.
