Aquatrols to Present New Findings at the 2nd World Congress on the Use of Biostimulants (Nov 19)

November 19, 2015 – Aquatrols will present new findings this month at the 2nd World Congress on the Use of Biostimulants in Agriculture. The summit is set to take place November 16-19 in Florence, Italy and will bring together over 1,000 delegates to explore new discoveries related to biostimulant products, which are increasingly being used in crop production around the world.

Attendees will include agronomists, consultants, research institutions, academics, and government agencies from nearly 70 countries. Aquatrols delegates and research cooperators will be on hand to present posters in three distinct areas: seed enhancement technology, rhizosphere management, and soil surfactant effects on plant health and stress tolerance.

The official poster citations are below:

Optimizing transpiration by rhizosphere management – Andrea Carminati, Mutez A. Ahmed, Mohsen Zarebanadkouki, Stan Kostka
Plant health and stress tolerance in turfgrass – challenging existing paradigms – Stanley J. Kostka and Mica F. McMillan
Evaluating surfactant coated seed under deficit irrigation in hydrophobic soils – Mica F MicMillan, M.D. Madsen, S.H. Daroub, S.J Kostka, J.E. Erickson, J.B. Sartain, K.A. Moore
Experiments on the use and sustainability of surfactant and biostimulant coated turfgrass seed for the green industry – Michael Fidanza, Matthew Madsen, Mica McMillan, Stan Kostka
Dr. Stan Kostka, Director of New Business Development for Aquatrols, expressed excitement on behalf of the Aquatrols delegation.

“We attended the first World Congress in 2012 and found it to be highly enlightening. Our understanding of these technologies has only increased since that time and we are eager to present our findings to the scientific community as we further develop innovative methods and technologies to change the way the world grows,” said Kostka.

The first World Congress on the Use of Biostimulants in Agriculture took place in 2012 in Strasbourg, France and attracted 700 delegates from 55 countries.
