Brad Harris named Business Manager of Clarke Aquatic Services

Brad Harris has been named Business Manager for Clarke Aquatic Services, which provides nuisance vegetative management in lakes, ponds and waterways, and other aquatic services solutions around the United States.

Harris, who previously served as Regional Manager for Solitude Lake Management, has extensive experience in aquatic weed and algae control, water quality preservation and regulations related to our nation’s lakes, ponds, waterways and stormwater systems.

“Brad brings extensive experience in operations and management in the aquatics industry, which gives him the unique perspective necessary to find an effective solution for our customers’ aquatic management challenges,” said Joel Fruendt, general manager, domestic services for Clarke.

Harris will be responsible for identifying new service areas and offerings through both acquisition and organic opportunities.  His areas of expertise include floating and submersed aeration systems, aquatic weed, algae and cyanobacteria treatments, bathymetric studies, water quality testing and reporting, sediment removal and aquatic biological augmentation.

“We have an amazing and experienced team at Clarke, and are already identifying new protocols and technologies to better serve our customers,” said Harris.  “My most important job is helping this talented team understand its potential and the tremendous opportunities in our field.” Harris will be based in Clarke’s Kissimmee, Fla., office.
