Club Car Appoints Mary A. Sicard Marketing Manager of New Resorts and Rentals Vertical Markets

Some combinations are classic: Paris and high fashion. Weddings and champagne. Club Car vehicles and fine resorts… and not just when it comes to golf industry.

The company’s exclusive Carryall® utility vehicles, Villager™ transport vehicles and street-legal Carryall® LSVs are ideal for resort applications. “They reflect the style, quality and performance that distinguish world-class properties,” says Mary A. Sicard.

Sicard was recently named manager of Club Car’s newly formed resort and rental vertical markets. Prior to that, she served as Club Car’s consumer marketing manager for five years.

The new vertical markets and Sicard’s appointment highlight the renewed interest Club Car is placing on this sector.

“No other manufacturer offers a wider range of vehicles and commercial-grade accessories for the resort industry than Club Car,” says Sicard.

The company’s electric, gas and diesel vehicles expedite facilities and grounds maintenance, housekeeping, guests and employee transport, room service, mobile merchandising and more. Its portfolio includes:

Carryall® utility vehicles, many of which can do the work of expensive pickup trucks.
Villager™ transport vehicles for four to eight passengers.
Carryall® LSVs that are street-legal on roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less in most states.
Café Express™ hospitality vehicles that increase food and beverage sales.

The vehicles are built on rustproof, corrosion-resistant aluminum frames. Most gasoline models are powered by new best-in-class EFI engines. Electric models feature high-frequency, solid-state chargers that prevent common charging errors.

Club Car also offers the industry’s widest range of commercial accessories and operates a custom solutions department that builds vehicles for special resort applications.

The company will showcase several of its vehicles at booth #2364 of the 2015 HX Trade Show on Nov. 8 – 10 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
