Flow-Rite Battery Watering System selected for STAR EV Golf Carts

Flow-Rite, the leader in the design and manufacturing of fluid control devices for lead-acid batteries, will now supply its state-of-the-art Pro-Fill™ Onboard Battery Watering System to STAR EV Corporation for their line of 48V Sirius and Capella golf carts. Todd Cowan, Flow-Rite business development manager, made the announcement.

“We are very happy to be working with Flow-Rite to add the gold standard in watering systems to our line of electric golf carts,” said Jane Zhang, CEO at STAR EV. “The ease of installation, attention to detail, and high quality, paired with the simplicity of Pro-Fill battery watering maintenance, make it a win for our customers.”

Made in the USA, Flow-Rite’s Pro-Fill Onboard Battery Watering System features a plug-and-play design that takes the guesswork out of the battery watering process. Due to easier battery maintenance, electric vehicle fleet owners will see reduced labor costs and a measurable return on their investment. Available in several configurations, Pro-Fill kits can fill a set of batteries in seconds, while eliminating the risks associated with manual battery watering. “Our internal team evaluated other solutions and selected Flow-Rite,” said Bob Weist, STAR EV VP of product development.

“STAR EV strives to manufacture innovative vehicles that enhance their customers’ comfort, lifestyle and productivity,” said Cowan. “By adding Pro-Fill single-point watering kits to their vehicles, they’re further improving the overall customer experience, whether it be for individual vehicle owners or large fleets.”

Established in 2003, Simpsonville, South Carolina-based STAR EV Corporation is the leading manufacturer of people movers and over 40 models of street legal LSVs (low-speed vehicles).
