John Deere Spotlights Equipment Technology at Golf Industry Show

John Deere is giving attendees of the 2020 Golf Industry Show (GIS) in Orlando a first-hand look at its newest equipment technology solutions that will change the future of golf course maintenance. From a virtual reality experience to demos of the next generation of OnLink course management platform, guests visiting John Deere booth #4735 will be able to experience the brand’s vision for the future.

“We know that the evolution and adoption of technology is critical to the future of the golf industry, and for that reason we are committed to developing new solutions,” said Robert Schmidt, Global Manager of Market Development & Strategy, John Deere Golf. “By offering this immersive experience at GIS, we are providing an opportunity for superintendents to explore new technology and learn how it can help solve the challenges they face daily, such as optimizing labor and minimizing operating costs.”

One of the most notable parts of the John Deere booth is the virtual reality station, dropping users onto a golf course and allowing them to witness the autonomous mower in action. After announcing its partnership with Precision Makers during the 2019 show, John Deere is excited to give visitors an up-close look, providing several different vantage points so attendees can see all the key features of the machine through a unique virtual reality experience.

Additionally, John Deere will host demonstrations in the OnLink area of the booth. Those interested in learning more about the golf course management platform can meet with dedicated OnLink experts who will walk through the system and discuss the value of the technology for their specific course.

Other key product displays in the booth are the GPS PrecisionSprayers, and the proven passcode-protected TechControl™ system, available on select John Deere greens, fairway, and rough, trims and surrounds mowers. Guests interested in learning more about these innovative solutions can meet with product experts to walk through the features and benefits of implementing this technology into their equipment fleet.

Those attending GIS in Orlando can experience the John Deere technology solutions at booth #4735. Those interested in learning more about the full-line of golf product solutions can connect with their local dealer or visit www.johndeere.com.
