As the 2025 golf season draws to a close, Landmand Golf Club in northeast Nebraska celebrates another record-breaking year and looks ahead to an exciting new addition for 2026.
Now in its third full season, Landmand has firmly established itself as one of the Midwest’s most sought-after golf experiences. “The highlight of this year, not unlike last, was that our tee sheet was full all season, and we had next to no unfilled nights in our cabins,” said General Manager Adam Fletcher. “Hosting the Nebraska Senior Men’s Amateur in June was another high point. We welcomed some incredibly talented golfers—many seeing Landmand for the first time—and congratulate Randy Christiansen, this year’s champion.”
Landmand’s Farmer’s Table food truck also hit new milestones, introducing fresh menu options that proved instant favorites. “Several items broke through the 1,000 sold barrier,” Fletcher noted with a grin.
For 2026, guests can look forward to an impressive new amenity: a 12,000-square-foot private putting and chipping green located beside the stay-and-play cabins nestled in the valley below the course. “If the weather cooperates, construction should be complete this fall,” Fletcher explained. “We hope to have it fully grown in and ready when we reopen on May 16, 2026.”
Despite record rainfall and strong winds, the course maintained its trademark challenge and charm. “The best part of my job is seeing the smiles on golfers’ faces after they finish a round at Landmand,” Fletcher said. “Even when the conditions get wild, they embrace it as part of the experience. We only had about 260 cancellations all season—that’s not bad for a full year in Nebraska!”
