Mesquite’s golf club named 2014 course of the year

The city of Mesquite’s golf club was recently named 2014 Golf Course of the Year by the Texas Turfgrass Association.

The designation is given to courses based on the maintenance and quality of the turfgrass and overall condition.

The Mesquite Golf Club celebrated 50 years on Nov. 28. It features Bermuda greens, added during the renovations.
