The readers of Naples Daily News recently named the Naples Lakes Country Club the Top Golf Course and Country Club in Collier County. The announcement was made in the publication’s Best of Naples 2019 in its annual Readers’ Choice Awards competition. The “Best” poll helps define excellence in products, performance and services.
The new honors were added to a growing list of local and statewide awards, including a recent award from Audubon International in its annual BioBlitz competition. The east Naples community was also named the top course in Collier County by Gulfshore Life Magazine, with additional honors for its tennis facility.
Commented Naples Lakes Head Golf Professional, Jake Myers, “We are extremely proud of these honors and confident that our recent course renovation played a role in earning this high ranking. Achieving these honors gives us continued pride in our work and our community.”
In January, the Naples Lakes Country Club earned high accolades with its ranking at #11 of the top golf courses in Florida. The rating was announced by Golf Advisor in its Best of 2018: Florida annual list, which names Florida’s top 30 golf courses.
Having recently celebrated its 20th anniversary of continued growth, Naples Lakes is Collier county’s only Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course. Last year’s $3.2 million “wall-to-wall” renovation not only added to the home values, but also enhanced the golfing lifestyle for the community’s very active residents. This was the last course renovation reviewed by Arnold Palmer before his passing. Improvements included enlarging and leveling all tee complexes, reshaping fairways, building new greens as well as expanding the practice facilities.
