Northern Golf Alliance adds Global Turf Equipment as partner (Jul 2)

July 2, 2015 – The Northern Golf Alliance continues to add to their portfolio of benefits for members with the addition of Global Turf Equipment.

“Global Turf is constantly adding inventory to its dynamic website so members looking to save money on equipment will be able to easily go online and impact their business,” Michigan Golf Course Owners Association executive director Kate Moore said. “GTE is a fiscally prudent alternative to buying brand-new machines.”
Association members will receive 5 percent off the list price of pre-owned equipment as well as a free shipping arrangement, a 90-day warranty and other special promotions. With its expansive 45,000 square foot warehouse and service facility, GTE stocks over 600 pieces of turf equipment at any given time including all major brands and allied equipment for all the NGA associations’ equipment needs. This will allow NGA members to be able to buy and sell turf equipment, trade up for newer models, lease-to-own and take advantage of NGA only special offers.

“We are extremely excited to partner with the NGA and support this association by offering them a program with flexible options to buy pre-owned equipment in a market that operates about six months out of the year because of climate conditions” GTE co-owner Pat Yarbrough said. “By offering the members discounted pricing, flexible shipping, financing and warranty options, we know this will help impact their bottom line and allow them to use their capital in other areas.”

The founding members of the Northern Golf Alliance include the Buckeye Golf Association in Ohio, Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin, Michigan Golf Course Owners Association, Midwest Golf Course Owners Association and Pennsylvania Golf Course Owners Association.

“It doesn’t matter what we do, it matters why we do it,” Buckeye Golf Association executive director Ken Guenther said. “As a member-driven association, we formed this Alliance to develop these types of relationships that provide great tangible and financial benefits to our members.”
