Propane Council’s GIE+EXPO 2010 Seminars to Showcase Benefits of Eco-Friendly Propane Lawn Mowers, Equipment

A growing number of commercial lawn care companies are transitioning to propane-fueled lawn mower fleets to secure sought-after cost and environmental benefits, as well as ease of refueling. With commercial mower models being offered by numerous top name brands, lawn care operators have multiple options to meet their needs. Also available are financial incentives through state partnerships for new propane-fueled mower acquisitions.
Some lawn care companies are going “all-propane” by also transporting propane mowers and personnel in propane-fueled trucks.
Seminar background:
Learn more about cost-effective, environmentally friendly propane-fueled equipment at the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) seminar series to be held in booth 11198 at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO), Oct. 28 to 30, in Louisville. Attendees can gather information directly from industry and trend leaders such as Cub Cadet, EnviroGard, Ferris Industries, Husqvarna, and Scag Power Equipment. Seminars will also be offered by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) and Downers Grove, Ill.-based Competitive Lawn Service, which is working toward becoming an entirely propane-fueled commercial lawn maintenance service.
Attendees also will have an opportunity to examine propane-fueled equipment in PERC’s Propane Pavilion, including propane mowers and other propane lawn equipment by Briggs & Stratton, Cub Cadet, EnviroGard, Husqvarna, Lehr Incorporated, Schiller Grounds Care/Bob-Cat, and Snapper Pro, as well as a dedicated propane-fueled Ford F-250 pick-up truck.
Additionally, attendees can attend a presentation by Schiller Grounds Care/Bob-Cat to learn about its entire 2011 line, which includes a brand-new propane-fueled model, from 2:30 to 2:50 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, in the show’s New Product Arena.
