Opti-Rate Steel Green Manufacturing
Steel Green Manufacturing is pleased to introduce Opti-Rate, a new pulse-width modulation (PWM) rate-controlled spray system developed in conjunction with CapstanAG. Opti-Rate is designed to enhance the accuracy and consistency of spray applications.
Opti-Rate independently controls flow rate and pressure to maintain a consistent application across the entire boom. When a Steel Green machine turns, Opti-Rate ensures the spray rate remains consistent through turn compensation. Opti-Rate also increases output when the machine speeds up, and decreases output when it slows down to maximize chemical savings.
Opti-Rate is available as an optional accessory and is compatible with all new Steel Green models.
“Opti-Rate gives operators even more control over their applications, without having to make extra adjustments out in the field,” said Matt Smith, vice president of sales at Steel Green Manufacturing. “This system will help them reduce over- and under-application, improve coverage, and deliver more reliable results overall.”
