Prime Source®, a division of Albaugh, LLC, is pleased to announce the EPA registration of new SublimeTM Herbicide. Sublime is a patent-pending, selective herbicide that combines mesotrione, triclopyr and dicamba into a premium non-2,4-D option for professional turfgrass managers. Additionally, in trials, Sublime did not show the unsightly weed bleaching associated with other mesotrione herbicides. Sublime is labeled for the control of over 200 broadleaf weeds including challenging species such as ground ivy, spurge, yellow wood sorrel, VA buttonweed and wild violet, and several grassy weed species.
Sublime is labeled for application to weeds growing in cool-season & certain warm-season turf species including Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, tall fescue, fine fescue, zoysia and dormant warm-season turf species including centipede, St. Augustine (sod) and Bermuda in commercial & residential turfgrasses. Use sites include golf courses, sod farms, athletic fields, parks, residential and commercial properties, cemeteries, airports, and lawns.
“Sublime has been described as a fantastic herbicide by one university trial cooperator. It offers an exciting, effective and divergent alternative to other turf herbicides in the market” states Bret Corbett, Technical Services Manager at Prime Source.
State registrations for Sublime are currently underway and the product should be available for shipment in Q4 through the Prime Source distribution network. For more information on Sublime and the full line of products from Prime Source go to www.primesource-albaugh.com.
