Syngenta Enhances GreenCast Connect Platform with Major Updates

Syngenta has rolled out significant updates to its GreenCast® Connect (GCX) platform, introducing GCX Mobile 1.1.0 and Web 2.4.0. These enhancements bring improved functionality, easier navigation, and new tools designed specifically for turf management professionals.

What’s New in Web 2.4.0

For Pro-level Spiio™ soil sensor customers, the web dashboard has been redesigned with:

  • A new side menu for streamlined navigation
  • Optimized card layouts and improved color contrast for clearer data visualization
  • A refined alerts section with filtering options and quick access to notification settings

New Soil Sensor Alerts

  • Immediate low-moisture detection
  • Customizable soil temperature thresholds
  • User-specific notifications while maintaining organization-wide settings

What’s New in Mobile 1.1.0s

The updated mobile app now features:

  • Centralized notification management
  • A new annual Growing Degree Days (GDD) widget for year-over-year turf growth comparisons
  • Exclusive Pro and Advanced subscriber access to long-term weather data analytics (3-, 7-, and 14-day intervals), including:
    • Ambient and soil temperatures
    • Humidity levels
    • Precipitation and evapotranspiration
    • Net water gain/loss calculations
