Troon Acquires Applied Golf Management

Troon®, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, is pleased to announce it has acquired Applied Golf Management, a New Jersey-based golf and hospitality management company.

As part of the acquisition, Troon assumes management of Applied Golf’s portfolio of 13 public and private golf facilities in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Members and guests of Applied Golf-managed facilities will continue to experience the same outstanding service, incredible course conditions and excellent food and beverage options. Current plans call for Applied Golf to continue to maintain its Millstone Township, New Jersey office and all Applied Golf associates will continue to support and manage facilities in the region.

Troon’s acquisition of Applied Golf Management infuses additional support, expertise and resources to benefit current and prospective clients, while growing the company’s portfolio of managed facilities in the Northeast.

In a completely separate transaction previously announced, Troon acquired the management services division of Dallas-based Invited, adding 18 management and/or consulting-services clients. The Applied Golf and Invited transactions not only expands Troon’s footprint in key markets, but also brings the additional talent and resources of those companies under the Troon umbrella, enabling Troon to help existing clients excel in the competitive world of golf and club operations.  In recent years, Troon has continued to grow organically while at the same time expand its service offerings and increase its management capabilities through multiple acquisitions. Since 2014, Troon has completed 13 management company acquisitions, including 11 since 2018.
