Walters Golf Course Desert Pines Golf Club to Celebrate Customer Appreciation This April with a Las Vegas Golf Deal

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) March 30, 2014

Desert Pines Golf Club has announced April as their Customer Appreciation Month. To celebrate, the Walters Golf Course will be reducing rates; offering brand new Callaway X2Hot irons, hybrids, and drivers as rental clubs; and rolling out a new level of service inspired by the Four Seasons hotels.

Officially the offer is known as the “Swing into Spring Customer Appreciation Event.” The Las Vegas golf deal has new rates that include $89 weekday and $99 weekends throughout April with completely unrestricted tee times, which means the low rates can be claimed for any tee time. These new rates reflect nearly 50% off typical prices for this time of year. For a limited time, the special rates can be accessed online at the Walters Golf website Desert Pines Golf Club Las Vegas Golf Deals page.

Desert Pines Golf Club is known as Las Vegas’s most strategic course, because the Dye Designs layout positions fairways and greens in between three story pines or next to water. There are water hazards on 9 of 18 holes. Several of the hazards straddle the length of par four fairways. From the black tee markers, “the tips,” the course plays 6,810 yards – with a 70.4 rating, a slope of 125, and par of 71. The course is located adjacent to Downtown Las Vegas and under 10 miles from every major casino property on the Las Vegas Strip.

A new level of service inspired by Four Seasons is now a component of every Walters Golf course. Desert Pines Golf Club has put a special emphasis on offering an exclusive country club style experience. Visitors are embraced with service and guidance from arrival to departure after their round of 18 holes.

The latest addition to the Desert Pines Golf Club experience is brand new Callaway X2Hot rental clubs. The clubs for hire are Callaway Golf’s flagship line. The X2Hot irons have received a “Gold” rating from Golf Digest and retail for $800. Each set also comes with 3 and 4 hybrids, X2Hot Fairway woods (3, 5, and 7) as well as a X2Hot Pro driver, all of which have received Golf Digest’s “Gold” rating. The entire set retails for over $1,400 and is available for hire for $75 per round.

A major component of the golf experience is the conditions at Desert Pines Golf Club. Walters Golf properties are known for their exceptional conditions and their scientific approach to course maintenance. Vice President of Golf Operations, Joe Kelly, had this to say, “Every year we bring the best conditions in Las Vegas golf to the table. Like every course, we deal with a wide range of issues affecting how we get to the perfect green speed, immaculate tee boxes and fairways that are true to the purest aspects of the sport. This year in particular has been exceptional. All of our winter preps headed up by Superintendent Kris Deiter have culminated in what may be the best conditions for golf in Southern Nevada. I have no doubt our visitors will be impressed by these conditions and the overall experience that Desert Pines has leveraged itself to deliver.”

Joe Kelly has been a golf professional for over 35 years and was inducted into the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame in 2010. Course owner, Bill Walters, of Walters Golf was inducted into the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame in late 2013. Walters Golf is also known for its other two courses Bali Hai Golf Club and Royal Links Golf Club.

Through exceptional conditions, service, top of the line rental clubs, and the limited time Customer Appreciation Las Vegas Golf Deal offering of tee times for $89 and $99, Desert Pines Golf Club is set to have a well golfed April. This limited time offer makes Desert Pines Golf club accessible and an amazing value to golf purists who are looking for the ultimate Las Vegas golf experience.
