Marriott Golf, one of the world’s premier golf operators, recently announced that Sean O’Brien, Director of Grounds for Hawk’s Landing Golf Club at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Fla., has been named Golf Grounds Manager of the Year.
This award is based on performance excellence for current and previous years in various categories, including maintaining turfgrass conditions, successful large scale renovation or construction projects, loss prevention efforts, personnel development, operating within budget, active pursuit of industry-wide certifications and education, and more.
“We are happy to recognize Sean O’Brien as our Golf Grounds Manager of the Year,” said David Robinson, Senior Director of Golf Grounds, Marriott Golf. “On behalf of the Marriott Golf family, we are thrilled to recognize Sean for his commitment to excellence.
